Dear colleagues,

I inform you that the following paper has been published :

IORIO E., 2008. – Contribution à l'étude des chilopodes (Chilopoda)
des Alpes-Maritimes incluant une clé d'identification des
lithobiomorphes Lithobiidae de Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. Bulletin
de la Société linnéenne de Provence, 59 : 127-190.

This paper include, in more of many new data on centipedes of French
maritime Alps, a key of Lithobiidae of South eastern France (Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region and French Alps and Prealps) and
redescriptions and figures for the 44 species and subspecies of
lithobiids included in this area.

With this paper on lithobiids, the recently published paper on French scolopendromorphs (IORIO E. & GEOFFROY J.-J., 2008. – Les scolopendromorphes de France (Chilopoda, Scolopendromorpha) : identification et distribution géographique des espèces. Riviera scientifique, 91 : 73-90) and the book of BROLEMANN (1930) available on the website “Faune de France” (in PDF free of charge, see this link : Link

), you could also determine a very big part of the north western Italian centipede fauna.
