I have enjoyed browsing through your archives to see the vivid and fruitful discussion of this forum.
I am preparing a larger study on the evolution and ecology of the genus Pedicularis in Europe (and elsewhere) and worked my way through the print floras. For Italy the most recent works I had access to were Pignatti (1982) Flora d'Italia and Poldini (1991)Atlante corologico delle piante vasculari nel Fruili-Venezia Giulia.
I wonder if you know of any recent print or electronic sources covering the distribution of Pedicularis in Italy or any of its provinces?
Also I wonder who is the legal body in Italy I have to contact in order to ask for sampling permits for rare and endemic Pediculars, e.g. P. elegans, ...?
And lastly, I would be very happy to learn about "grey literature" on Pedicularis that is not indexed internationally but most likely available in Italian somewhere in Italy.
Thanks for you help and I am happy to share my findings on this exciting group of plants.
