Ciao Klaas, I thought that they lived on chestnuts instead it seems they have no problem.
These two, one was above the other on a chestnut and oak.

In Germany they prefer oak and vine, but I guess within Europe they will be living on a number of other woods than those two.

I think not disdain even the ash.
But I realized I was wrong saying Bostrychidae,
maybe it was just Bostrichidae.
But I see that many have written on the net as well.
What will be the right way to classify it?
