Ciao

According to info from the web Myrmecophilus americanus is live almost exclusively in Paratrechina longicornis.

According to a local book we have both spcs. in Israel
but since I have not photos or other way to confirm ID I try here

If the Myrmecophilus in the attach photos is M. americanus but the ant is not P. longicornis its become interesting story.
If the Myrmecophilus is NOT M. americanus it's also interesting since the other known spcs. should not found in the coastal area of Israel.

Anyway is interesting story and any help will be appreciate
