Classe: Echinoidea Ordine: Spatangoida Famiglia: Loveniidae Genere: Echinocardium Specie:Echinocardium fenauxi

Cres (Croazia), 04/07/2011, profondità 4 m, dimensione circa 4 cm.
So che gli esemplari vivi ad oggi non sono facili da identificare per cui ho fotografato anche 2 teche trovate in una baia adiacente. Ovviamente non è detto che l'esemplare vivo e le teche appartengono alla stessa specie però magari può aiutare l'identificazione.
E' possibile risalire alla specie dell'esemplare vivo o almeno delle due teche?

I think that the "Esempare 2" and "Esemplare 3" are Echinocardium fenauxi because: "here is a single row of pores on the sides of the umbulacrum". In the "Esemplare 3" I can see that "the shape of the periproct is expanded sideways" too.
