dovrebbe trattarsi di Hoplia argentea, specie molto variabile cromaticamente (l'H. caerulea in Italia non c'è, inoltre è caratterizzata da colorazione molto poco variabile: squame azzurro metallico intenso). Le Hoplia sono attualmente considerate come appartenenti a famiglia separata (hopliidae), ma non c'è accordo, qualcuno le accorpo ai Rutelidae, altri ai Melolonthidae.

How much I could understand, you ask mr. Linnea, whether there can be this copy a female? Judging by longer hind legs and the form of shins, I think, he/she is the male.
