I recently returned from leading my tenth and last natural history tour to the north of Cyprus. My mobility and manual dexterity are such that I risk becoming a liability to groups as well as to myself.
I thought this little spider with blue toes was very attractive. It was caught at Mia Milia, in the north of the island on 08 April 2018. I am sure it is Salticidae, possibly Pellenes sp. but wonder if anyone is possibly able to identify it for me,
Very many thanks Elleelle. This is a new species to me. I note that there is marked sexual dimorphism in this species. I wish I had found a male as well!
