Clorochroa is shorter. This long-body bug is, perhaps, a Nezara cfr. viridula, 'cause I dont' know if in Israel, Giordania or Syria, there is another species.

As far I understanding this is not Nezara viridula
comparing to other photos (many of bought spices) they may have similar body proportion but look different as adults and in lower stages
Here more photos take at the same palace and time of the first photo

In fact, it seems but it's not N.viridula, but a similar species. I'm looking for another genus, like Acrosternum sp. or Brachynema sp. (perhaps the medio-oriental B.signatum).

Nice thread,
I see those from time to time near the coastal area, some of them has black tergite some lighter. scent gland are short with small yellow or white bulge.
Maybe this information can strengthen the ID confirmation. |
